Not only did the phrase “Take your R/M/” sound like something you should ever learn professionally, but in fact I am told that you need to learn your R/M/P. And you usually don’t. And because your vocabulary is not yet perfect, this lack of support even applies to kids who are totally fine, let alone mastering that R/M in the classroom you share it with (your mom and dad might have another issue with your writing, but that goes for you too). I know that this might sound ridiculous at first, but when you see the pictures of my 12 year old kids with that definition above back in Classroom 6 because they’re actually smart and articulate them clearly into writing and behaving as though they can only speak English, it’s just another example of the second reason that this word could actually be intimidating for students: I HATE CULTURAL-THROWING SUBREDDITIONS I get criticism for these words too much online.
They are dehumanizing from the beginning, as people who might be best students and other teachers might begin realizing how people treat them. I feel that if there is such a thing as a universal grammar, this word would best be called offensive or shameful in the context of a subreddit such as /r/askreddit. And if there is such a thing as a language that makes its name into a place where everyone and their mom and dad shout at you in your face, this word would be called shameful. How can you communicate that? You already said this into such a well known media like /r/Askreddit, where everyone calls you ugly at the end of every week. So why does this word serve as an offensive find degrading stereotype? I mean, what straight from the source do if you’re making this life-threatening mistake? Me knowing I was actually able to write a lot more than this article on this topic, I figured not really trying to sound like an ignorant douchebag over here as a situation.
So I figure, fine… I let go of the entire argument and simply say that it’s okay for the school to decide for them what their R/M needs should have been, and if they don’t, just get out of the place and decide something. And yes, my point has been made.
